Egyptian Tantra

According to some people Egyptian civilization is the mother culture of this epoch on the planet, and Egyptian tantra is the "mother" of all the tantric arts. Simply defined, tantra is the art of utilizing sexual energy to move the subtle energy of the body.

The pre-dynastic Egyptians were a very spiritually advance culture. They utilized many of the spiritual technology tools of the Atlantians, and had an active relationship with advanced extra-terrestrial races. In the Isis and Osiris mystery schools, the initiates would spend years mastering their subtle energy body. Most of their practice would require strict celibacy, but certain advanced practices involved sexuality. It is believed that the tantric traditions of southern India, China and Tibet were "seeded" from the Atlantians and Egyptians.

All the tantric traditions contain vast knowledge of the subtle energy body, and they are all very similar. Each tradition has used the language and picture metaphors of it's own culture while describing the movement of energy.

Tom Kenyon, a sound healer based in the Seattle area, channels the Hathors, who are an ET race that worked extensively with the ancient Egyptians. He has also channeled Mary Magdalene, who described her training in the Isis temple.

Like the Hindu kundilini teachings, Egyptian tantra uses the serpent as a metaphor for moving energy. The energy resides at the base of the spine, but splits into two ascending flows as it rises. The feminine energy, seen as a black serpent, begins rising up the left side of the body, and then crosses over to the other side at each chakra. The masculine energy is visualized as a gold serpent and begins rising up the right side before crossing over at the chakras. Specific and sophisticated skills are taught in Egyptian tantra to move the energy into the higher charkas and activate the ka body. The ka body is the light body, or etheric double. The goal of spiritual practice for the ancient Egyptians was to build up a large amount of energy in their Ka body. They could use this energy for healing, psychic activity, or astral traveling. Perhaps the ultimate goal was to remain conscious in the after-life journey. When a soul dropped his body, he could transfer his consciousness to the ka body and remain aware until his next incarnation.
